This is the short version of the whole journey: one checklist you can save on your phone, from the first decision to the moment you reach your hotel door. Where a longer guide exists, the stage links to it.
Stage 1: before you book
- Have your flight number, the date and your estimated arrival time.
- Count passengers and bags, and note anything bulky, because this decides the vehicle class.
- Write down your hotel’s exact name and address. For Da Nang, the airport-to-hotel transfer guide walks through the same steps in more detail.
Stage 2: when you book
- Choose the vehicle class by passengers and bags; the booking form shows the guests and reference suitcases for each class.
- Check the fare shown for each vehicle class on the booking page before you send the request.
- Add a phone number that will work on arrival, and put any special needs in the notes.
Stage 3: confirm and pay
- Wait for RideVie’s confirmation, then check the route, date, time, names and total.
- Pay with the options shown and quote the payment reference.
- Keep the receipt, and read the cancellation and refund policy so you know what applies if your plans change.
Stage 4: before you fly
- Recheck your flight a day or two ahead and send any change with your booking code; see what to do when a flight is delayed.
- Remember that the pickup time can be later than landing time, because immigration and baggage claim take time.
- Save the booking code, the driver’s contact and the hotel address where you can read them offline.
- Going back to the airport at the end of your trip? Work backwards from your departure time, as in setting your pickup time from Hoi An.
Stage 5: on arrival
- Clear immigration and collect your bags, then count them.
- Look for your name on a sign in the arrivals hall.
- If you cannot see the driver, stay in the hall and call the number in your confirmation, quoting your booking code.
Stage 6: at the hotel
- Count the bags again when the boot is opened.
- Check that the drop-off matches the address you booked.
- Keep your booking code until the trip is over, in case you need to contact RideVie.
