Hoi An is roughly 30 km south-east of Da Nang International Airport. By private car the drive normally takes 45–60 minutes, a little more at peak hours or in heavy rain. Because the car goes straight from the arrivals hall to your hotel, it is the simplest option after a long flight.
What the trip looks like
Most routes follow the coast road and pass close to the Marble Mountains. Traffic builds mid-morning and again in the late afternoon, so for a morning arrival add a little buffer to your hotel check-in plans rather than to the drive itself.
Tell us exactly where in Hoi An
Hoi An hotels are spread across the Old Town, the beaches and quieter countryside areas, and the right drop-off point differs for each. Parts of the Ancient Town restrict vehicles at certain hours, so a car may have to stop at the nearest access point and you finish on foot with your bags. Rules and hours change, so ask your hotel which street to use and send the hotel’s exact name and map pin with your booking.
Want a stop on the way?
If you would like to visit the Marble Mountains or have lunch before checking in, add the stop when you book. Choose the multi-stop option so each leg and the waiting time are priced separately and shown before you send the request.
What to send when you book
- Hotel name and area in Hoi An (Old Town, An Bang, Cua Dai or elsewhere).
- Flight number and arrival time; allow time for immigration if you are arriving from abroad.
- Number of passengers and suitcases, so the vehicle class fits both.
- A phone number that works on arrival.
The fare is calculated per vehicle, not per person, and the exact amount for your hotel is shown on the booking page before you send the request. The reference table on the home page lists typical fares for popular routes.
